Culture Queer

Culture Queer

Culture Queer’s adventurous, eccentric Pop experiments are a melding of hyper-catchy hooks delivered over the foursome’s morphing backdrop of electronics and fluctuating forms of Rock music. Consisting of three filmmakers, Culture Queer performances (delivered everywhere from art galleries to corner bars) are A/V spectaculars, featuring video art accompaniment that can be mixed live. The band has released three brilliant albums, starting with Supersize It Under Pontius Pilate in 2004 and culminating with 2012’s Nightmare Band, which was nominated for Album of the Year at the 2012 Cincinnati Entertainment Awards.
