ArtWorks Box Truck Carnival - The region’s most creative minds transform ordinary box trucks into engaging, exciting, and whimsical “carnival booths” for the third annual ArtWorks Box Truck Carnival.
Food Court - Enjoy tasty offerings from this year's vendors: Keystone Bar & Grill, Mr. Hanton's Handwiches, Eli's BBQ, Turophilia Quesadillas, Urban Grill Food Truck, Vinnie's Gourmet Pretzels and Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream.
KidPoint - On Saturday afternoon from noon to 4 pm, MidPoint becomes KidPoint: Families and people of all ages can frolic between ArtWorks Box Trucks, watch ArtWorks youth Apprentices and professional artists turn cars into moving masterpieces, and enjoy stage performances by the School of Rock Mason and other upbeat family-friendly bands. Cincinnati Ballet’s CBII (Second Company) will be performing audience-interactive excerpts from the wild ballet Carnival of Animals throughout the afternoon. Plus, local food vendors will be open and ready to dish up tasty lunches.
ArtWorks ArtCars - ArtWorks’ ArtCars project employs local youth and professional artists to transform cars, trucks, and vans into mobile masterpieces. Started in 2010 as part of Streetscapes: A Street Painting Festival in Clifton, ArtWorks ArtCars is moving to Over-the-Rhine this year to be part of the MidPoint Midway at MidPoint Music Festival. This year, 25 ArtWorks youth Apprentices and professional artists working in teams will collaborate with car owners to give five ordinary rides a creative new look. To date, ArtWorks has transformed 19 cars. Find out how to Art-Your-Ride at ArtWorksCincinnati.org.
