EXPERIENCE MPMF 2016

  • ACCESSIBILITY: Working within the parameters of the location of MPMF 2016, we strive to make the festival accessible to all. We’ve taken steps to make MPMF more accessible than ever with the consolidation of the stages within a location centralized to the Main Street entertainment district. All areas within the festival footprint are paved and the natural incline of the ticketed staged areas will allow for easy viewing to those in wheelchairs. A beer garden in the ticketed area will offer seating for those needing a break from standing, Additional seating will be present throughout the festival. Festival staff will be on site to assist with any accessibility needs that could potentially arise.
  • ATMs: ATMs will be available on site, but plan ahead! Bringing cash with you will cut down on the amount of time spent in line. Most vendors are cash only!
  • BOX OFFICE: The MPMF Box Office will be located on site near Sycamore and 12th. There, staff will take care of all ticketing concerns.
  • BROKEN/LOST WRISTBANDS: If you break your wristband and present it to the on-site box office, they will give you a new wristband and take the broken wristband. If you lose your wristband, they cannot be replaced. No 3-day or VIP passes will be sold to replace lost wristbands.
  • CAMPING: Over-the-Rhine isn’t meant for camping- we recommend bunking with a friend or booking a hotel (see below!)
  • CHILDREN: The festival is all-ages; please bring the next gen of music lovers with you! Ages two and up require tickets.
  • DATES: September 23-25, 2016
  • FILMING & PHOTOGRAPHY: MidPoint Music Festival reserves the right to film and photograph all festival activities for promotional use. Please be advised that upon entry, you are granting permission for your image to be used in any and all promotional materials. MidPoint Music Festival assumes no responsibility for persons opposed to being photographed or filmed. No professional photography/videography equipment will be allowed without the proper credentials. For info on securing media credentials, visit our media page.
  • GATES: Gates open at 3:00pm on Friday and 12:30pm on Saturday and Sunday. The festival closes at 11 pm each night.
  • HOTELS: Some hotels that we like include 21c, the Downtown Cincinnati Residence Inn, and the Holiday Inn in Covington, KY. We also think airbnb is pretty cool!
  • INFO CENTER: At all entrances, event staff will be standing by to answer your questions, offer high-fives, and moral support if necessary. The on-site box office will also be a source to tap for questions and concerns- check out the map on our Tickets page.
  • LOCATION: MPMF has been relocated to the lots east of Sycamore between Grear Alley and Elliott Street. The no-wristband-required Eli's BBQ stage will be located at Sycamore and 14th. For the first time, the entire festival microcosm is within two blocks. This change addresses a ton of logistical concerns, but more importantly, guarantees a safer, more accessible festival experience overall. Change is scary, but you’re so brave and flexible! We dig that.
  • PARKING: Parking may require some planning ahead. We suggest sharing a ride with a friend or utilizing services like Red Bike or the Cincinnati Streetcar (Connector!). There are a ton of parking garages along the route of the streetcar and hey, maybe you haven’t had the chance to hop on quite yet! The Jack Casino’s lot is also a viable option and short walk away.
